Show Empty Delimiters Registry entry

In a multi-language environment, specify whether the delimiter will display in an empty field. Used in conjunction with the Show Trailing Delimiters Registry entry.

In a multi-language environment data is entered into a field in one language followed by the next, separated by a delimiter (and so on, for as many languages as required). The Show Empty Delimiter entry specifies whether the delimiter will display in a field even if there is no data in the field.

This entry is used in conjunction with the Show Trailing Delimiters Registry entry to show or hide delimiters in fields with no data. In this example, Show Trailing Delimiters is set to true (so that delimiters will always display in a field in which the first supported language has data) and Show Empty Delimiters is set to false:

Note: The Show Empty Delimiters Registry entry may be set on a system-wide, per user or group basis.

Note: If this entry is not present, a setting of false is assumed.
